Happy Easter!!!

I hope all of you have a fantastic Easter and may your aprons be full of eggs...

and your baskets full of flowers!

Here is our Easter tree this year complete with garland and decorations, handmade and not. I added my two vintage candy advertisements that I just got for $4.

These were gifts for my girls' teachers and the bus driver...aren't they cute for $3 each?!

Our lil' chickies,

and rabbits.

and my daughters' Easter village display.

For our deviled eggs this year, we decided to follow these directions from The Barefoot Kitchen Witch for the crackled egg effect.

We had some fresh green and brown eggs that we boiled, cracked all over, and then left to bathe in a bath of beautiful color OVERNIGHT in the fridge.

Aren't these BEAUTIFUL?!

Of course, I foolishly thought that this was our egg dying for this year, but then found out the girls were still waiting to dye eggs the "traditional" way, so I had to go to the store for some plain white eggs. We also tried the rubber band technique.

These eggs are awaiting our church Easter egg hunt in the morning!

Happy Hunting everyone!
