I didn't do much thrifting, but did find 2 yard sales where I bought some old bottles, comics, etc. and many nice fall clothing items for my 7 year old.
I couldn't have asked for a better end to my summer vacation!
The girls started school today and I was a tad teary eyed when I put them on the bus (I love having them at home during the summer), but they got off the bus this afternoon saying that they had a fun day at school and that's all that matters!
So here we are back to, as much as possible, a routine.
Where does the time go?

Welcome back from your vacation. Glad you guys had a nice holiday weekend. Ours was great too. I don't have any kids to send off to school but I do love this time of year.
Welcome back. Sounds like you are having busy days and are getting back into routine.
I really love the photos of the pier - how about a post about your area and the area you trhift in? Or maybe I'm just nosy!
